PURPOSE

The purpose of this activity is to describe the process to asses identify training requirements and schedule training, prepare, and deliver training.

WHEN

As needed to meet the annual training schedule.

ENTRY CRITERIA

  • Facilitator-led training or Computer-based training is ready to be delivered

SUB-ACTIVITIES

  1. Identify Training Requirements and Schedule Training

    • For facilitator-led training, identify the following:

      • Class start/end time
      • Location
      • Room preferences
      • Attendees
      • Facilitators
    • For computer-based training, identify the following:

      • Release/due date
      • Required participants
  2. Prepare for delivery

    • For Facilitator-Led Training:

      • Confirm attendees
      • Submit Project Workforce Change Request(s)
      • Arrange for Refreshments
      • Arrange for IT Support
      • Prepare Course Feedback Surveys and Class Roster
      • Prepare Training Materials
    • For Computer-Based Training:

      • Record and edit media
      • Upload to LMS
      • Prepare and submit training for review
  3. Deliver training

    • For Facilitator-Led Training:

      • Review pre-work assignments and room for facilitation
      • Distribute Course Feedback Survey to participants
    • For Computer-Based Training:

      • Assign training to participants in LMS
      • Announce training to participants
  4. Process course completions

    • Update LMS to track training completions
    • Process completed Course Feedback Surveys (if applicable)
    • Conduct retrospective on facilitated training

EXIT CRITERIA

  • Facilitator-led training or Computer-based training records are updated
