Purpose

The purpose of Data Management Maturity (DMM) is to institutionalize a consistent framework across the organization providing guidance to help build, improve, and measure our company’s data management capabilities. Our approach is codified through policy and elaborated in our Data Management Strategy (DMS.) Our DMS lays out a set of guiding principles that are specifically designed to align with guidance promulgated by our DoD customers to promote greater understanding, and value. To support the principles and achieve the goals contained in the DMS, we have chosen to organize our DMM activities using the standard data lifecycle to facilitate more intuitive process execution for data management professionals.
