Purpose

The principal purpose of Data Science is to find patterns within data. It uses various statistical techniques to analyze and draw insights from the data. From data exploration and modeling, the Data Scientist must scrutinize the data thoroughly. Data Scientists have the responsibility of drawing insights from the data and confirming them with subject matter experts. The goal of a Data Scientist is to derive conclusions from the data. Through these conclusions, the Data Scientist can assist organizations in making smarter business decisions. This Data Analytics tier defines the process activities and roles involved.
