PURPOSE

Identify and document activities for the recruiting and hiring team to screen and source for candidates to fill job openings.

Performed every time a Requisition ID is approved.

Approved requisition ID

ENTRY CRITERIA

A requisition ID has been approved and opened on the Hiring Plan.

SUB-ACTIVITIES

  1. Source for Leads

    • Identify sourcing strategy/plan as per initial Intake Call/Meeting.
    • Recruiter develops leads using various recruiting tools, job boards, etc.
  2. Screen Resumes

    • The recruiting and hiring team collaborate to identify candidates for recruiter phone screens.
  3. Conduct Phone Screens and Assess Qualifications

    • Once potential candidates are identified, recruiter conducts 30-minute phone screen(s) to move forward or eliminate from potential candidate pool.
    • If applicant is declined, they go no further in the process and are informed and thanked via email.
    • Capture interview notes to include clearance eligibility, salary, location, culture fit/motivation, and main technology skills, forward to the hiring manager.

OUTPUTS

EXIT CRITERIA

  • Potential candidates are identified and screened.
  • Screened candidates are moved to technical phone interview with hiring team or technical team.
