Data Catalog¶
A data catalog is an inventory of the data sources. The data catalog uses metadata to describe and summarize each data source. The metadata within the data catalog creates an informative and searchable inventory of all the data sources in the enterprise. The data catalog continuously curates the metadata associated with each data source enabling identification, evaluation, and use of data sources within a project to meet business objectives.
